Novepam
Novepam (Bromazepam) is a benzodiazepine that selectively reduces
tension and anxiety in low doses, but sedative and muscle-relaxant
properties appear in high doses. Novepam is readily absorbed after oral
administration with peak plasma levels within one to two hrs. The mean
half-life of Novepam
is 10-20 hrs. Bromazepam and its metabolites are excreted in urine.
* Indications :
Novepam is indicated for the treatment of:
– Emotional disturbances: Anxiety and tension states, anxious, depressive mood, nervous tension, agitation and insomnia.
– Anxiety & tension accompanied with functional or organic disease,
in particular gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory and
genitourinary.
– Other psychosomatic disturbances such as psychogenic headache and psychogenic dermatosis.

Novepam-1.5 Tablets: Each tablet contains Bromazepam 1.5 mg. Blister
packs of 30 tablets & hospital packs of different sizes are
available.
Novepam-3 Tablets: Each tablet contains Bromazepam 3 mg. Blister packs
of 30 tablets & hospital packs of different sizes are available.
Novepam-6 Tablets: Each tablet contains Bromazepam 6 mg. Blister packs
of 30 tablets & hospital packs of different sizes are available.
