Dobesil

* Description :
Dobesil (Calcium Dobesilate) is a regulator of the capillary functions. Dobesil reduces capillary permeability and improves blood flow, tissue irrigation by opposing the breakdown of collagen and reducing plasma anf blood hyperviscosity. Dobesil indirectly increases lymphatic drainage that reduces oedema.
* Indications :
• Dobesil is indicated for the treatment of:
– Microangiopathy, in particular diabetic retinopathy.
– Chronic venous insufficiency with pain, cramp and paresthesia.
• Dobesil is also indicated as adjuvant therapy in superficial thrombophlebitis, post-thrombotic syndrome, oedema, circulatory disturbances of arterio-venous origin or due to impaired microcirculation and hemorrhoidal syndrome.

Dobesil Capsules: Each capsule contains Calcium Dobesilate 500 mg. Blister packs of 30 capsules & hospital packs of different sizes are available.
